Disconnected During a Live Casino Round? Check the Bet Record First

The live video freezes after you press a betting button. That alone does not tell you whether the bet was accepted or whether the round finished. Stop adding wagers, reconnect when possible and inspect the game history. The record of the bet matters more than the last frame on your screen.

An interruption can affect the video, your connection or the gambling system itself. Those are different failures with potentially different settlement rules. This page explains what to check and preserve; it does not promise automatic refunds or state a platform-specific disconnection policy that has not been verified.

Separate acceptance from display

A chip visible on the betting grid may show a proposed wager, a confirmed wager or an interface state waiting for an acknowledgement. Find the accepted-bet record or confirmation for the actual round. Note the amount and the closing time of its betting window.

If no accepted wager appears, do not assume that a temporary balance display proves one was placed. Conversely, a disconnected screen does not erase a recorded bet. Ask support about the exact round if the acceptance status remains uncertain. Repeating the wager on a reopened table risks another stake; it cannot change the earlier bet record.

The round can continue without your video

A live dealer may complete the physical event while your stream is unavailable. For a wager requiring no further player action, the result may still be settled under the table’s interruption policy. Watching the animation is not necessarily a condition for a recorded bet to stand.

The British Gambling Commission’s interruption standard distinguishes completed-action wagers, single-stage events and games with further decisions. It is a British licensing reference; the applicable table policy must be checked separately. Our online and live game comparison explains why a live stream and the underlying round record are different pieces of information.

Blackjack may still require a decision

Blackjack can involve a choice to hit, stand, double or split after the initial bet. Losing the connection during that decision window is different from losing video after a roulette bet is closed. Find the rules describing what happens when a player cannot act in time. Do not invent a default action from another table.

Read the live-blackjack round-flow guide for the stages involved. A restored interface may show a completed hand or a resumed decision; inspect its current state before pressing anything. The important question is which rule applied at the interrupted decision point.

Reconcile the money in a separate step

After locating the round result, compare the accepted stake and credited return with the account history. A winning result may have a delayed display, a paid return that includes stake, or a table-specific exception. A balance difference requires an explanation, not another bet to see whether the system is working.

For example, a hypothetical 100-unit starting balance and an accepted 10-unit losing wager would leave 90 if there were no other transactions. A winning wager at 1:1 would ordinarily return 20 including the stake and leave 110. These are arithmetic illustrations; the table’s own payout and accounting rules decide an actual case.

Give support a record they can trace

Record the provider and table name, round identifier, local time with time zone, stake, bet type and the result shown in history. Include a screenshot of the acceptance record and the disputed transaction when available. State the discrepancy plainly: “The history records this outcome, but I cannot reconcile this credit.”

The Commission’s transaction-display reference illustrates why stakes, results and account movements should be understandable. Do not send passwords or security codes in a support screenshot. Keep a copy of the ticket and response so that a later follow-up concerns the same round.

A cancelled event is not the same as a disconnected player

A provider may void an event under a particular rule, while an individual player’s interrupted stream may leave the wager in place. Ask whether the round itself was cancelled and which clause explains the treatment. Wait for the round status and applicable rule before expecting a refund.

If an unresolved transaction makes you want to recover the money immediately, take a break. Time-outs and spending controls can help separate a support dispute from further play. Resolving one record should not become a reason to increase stakes or chase a loss.
